Rug Cleaning Eastbourne, Brighton, Sussex
We are often asked to 'run over' customers rugs if we are cleaning their upholstery or carpets. Thorough rug cleaning differs from cleaning carpets, here are some reasons why ~
The rug face is vacuumed firstly across the warp and then over the weft.
A protective sheet is then placed on the floor surface, the rug is then placed face down on the sheet.
A lengthy vacuum now takes place, the main objective is to create vibration, thus dislodging soils from the face of the rug.
We then remove the rug and admire the quantity of dust that has just fallen out of the rug fibres.
Our cleaning solution is then agitated gently into the fibres with a specialist machine.
The rug fringes are then sprayed and brushed using a Tampico hand brush
Extraction now takes place, using filtered, heated and softened water, the remaining soil is suspended and recovered
back into our machine, either a Hydramaster Truck mounted system or a Ninja machine. When the rug is dry, much of its original beauty is restored, leaving the fibres soft and residue free.
We have now purchased our own commercial premises, this has a specialised rug cleaning and drying area, on request you are welcome to come and watch us in action!
