From time to time we like to reflect on the past, especially now as another new year is with us..
We started our carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning adventure in Eastbourne in the early 1980′s, back then carpet cleaning equipment and knowledge was extremely basic, with the best carpet cleaning machinery available only offering drying times of around 5-6 hours at best. Most products were detergent based and limited in their stain removing abilities.
We are very pleased to say that things have changed greatly ! Drying times are down to 2 hours and the products that are used now will not only remove the majority of staining but also remain odourless and are non re-soiling. This is good news for not only us as carpet cleaning technicians but our clients too, after all, who really wants to endure a house full of aggressive fuming agents that contain high acid or ph content ? Which when walked on in bare feet will be absorbed by our skin! We actively avoid these products, they are simply dated and not required these days in our opinion.
Our very first carpet and rug cleaning job was in St Johns Road, Meads, Eastbourne. I remember the day well, armed with the knowledge gained at the first training course I had been on, I arrived at our customers property with a degree of nervousness I have to admit, but after three hours I was packing my machinery away happy and pleased that our customer had promised to tell her friends about my system!
We are pleased to say now that we own our own commercial property that is fully equipped and dedicated to our specialist rug cleaning service that has been so well received by people in Eastbourne and the surrounding villages and towns. We can often offer a same day pick up if customers drop off their rugs in the morning, clean, dry and ready to enjoy.

We know all about rug testing and always pre test rugs for colour fastness and browning before any rug is touched.
